Paper machine fabrics refer to fabrics used on paper machines. There are three types:

(1) Papermaking Forming Fabrics, fabrics used in the forming area of papermaking

(2) Papermaking press fabrics or papermaking press felts, fabrics used in the papermaking press area

Forming Fabrics

(3) Paper-making Dry Fabric or paper-making drying felt, used for fabrics in the paper-making drying zone. Forming fabrics are divided into single-layer forming fabrics, double-layer forming fabrics and three-layer forming fabrics. Papermaking press felts are divided into base cloth needled felts, bottom net needled felts, non-base cloth felts, non-buckling base cloth felts and laminated press felts. Drying fabrics are divided into monofilament filament fabrics, spiral fabrics and multifilament fabrics.
